Katie Cropper Klein was born, raised, and just can’t seem to leave New York City. A graduate of the traditional animation program at Pratt Institute in 2007, she has spent most of her animation career working in and out of the indie animation circuit. Cropper-Klein had the pleasure of being a designer and production manager on an HBO documentary, Animated for a lingerie runway show performance, Created e-learning videos for nursing staff at Bellevue hospital, is the ASIFA East mailing list newsletter writer, festival co-chair, and board member. She most recently worked as a production coordinator for a children’s television show. Katie specializes in watercolor, after effects, flash, production, and wearing many fancy hats. She lives in Queens, NY and recently wed and transitioning to a new last name.
